Registration Fees

In order to receive the member rate for this event, you must be logged in as a member and be current on your dues at the time of registration.  Once a form is submitted, the rate cannot be changed.  If you are unsure of your member rate, please contact our office.

Important Information

MSHA Part 46 requires 8 hours of annual refresher training for “experienced and newly hired miners”.  The WACA Safety Committee offers affordable and comprehensive aggregate industry specific training modules to help you satisfy these requirements.  

  • Deadline for completing annual Part 46 training is within a 12 month period of your previous training.
  • Your safety plan should be modified to include Aggregate Refresher curriculum. 
  • Reservations are on a first PAID registered / first served basis.
  • First Aid Refresher classes are limited to 25 people per each 4-hour session.
  • First Aid Training and Aggregate Refresher curriculum is facilitated by aggregate industry and FA safety professionals and MSHA Educational Services personnel as schedules allow.

2 elements of Safety Training are typically offered at this event: 

First Aid Training:     
4 hour Refresher Training is offered in the AM (and PM if necessary) plus 4 hours of topical training will satisfy your 8 hour requirements. 

Topical Training:
7.5 Hours Aggregate Refresher education curriculum will satisfy your 8 hour requirements plus

  • Each Facility is required to complete 30 minutes (or more) of site specific safety training covering changes at the mine site.
  • Miners will leave these sessions with approximately 7 hours or more of training.

If you are in the January training and need to be moved to the February training, please notify us at least 1 week prior to the event.

Cancellation & Refund
Refunds are given less $10 processing fee.

No Shows
Funds will not be refunded or be carried over to another training date.  Be courteous, cancel ahead of time.
